Self-Care Saturday: How is your temple holding up?

Hey Sis! I Just wanted to remind you that your body is a temple.  If you don’t take care of it you won’t be able to reach your goals, take care of people or live your best life.  We have to make sure that we are putting the right things into our bodies. If you feel like you have fallen off due to the daily hustle or grind, it’s okay.  You have a community of sisters within this group who are willing to cheer you on.  If you need to get back on track with working out, let’s plan to start on Monday. If you’re eating habits have taken a dive, log onto Pintrest, search meal prep/planning ideas, go grocery shopping, grab a refreshing drink and make your meals for the week.  Make sure you are getting enough rest (not just sleep) and drinking the estimated amount of water to make sure your body is functioning correctly.  We only have one body, we need to make sure we are taking care of it.

“Nutrition is important, training is important – but so are rest and recovery, massages, acupuncture. Your body is your temple, and you’ve got to take care of it.”

  1. Ah. Self care….I love it and understand the need. Yet it’s a struggle for me to make it a priority. Mentally it’s on the top of my list but execution is a long road.
