A few years ago I had this motto. The motto was “Team Grind, Team No Sleep”. Basically I would grind daily for professional and personal goals with only 3-5 hours of sleep. I was able to get a lot done with that mind frame but it was so unhealthy. I realized my ability to do this was actually insomnia. There were times where I would go days without restful sleep or no sleep at all.
Did you know that sleep is just as important as diet and exercise (www.sleepfoundation.org)? I went to my doctor for help and after a sleep aid and having to keep a sleep journal, things have gotten better.
